Confirmation runs from the end of August through the end of May each year. Children are expected to participate in the Confirmation Program from grades 6-8. Orientation for both parents and students is held mid-August in conjunction with acolyte training for all incoming and returning acolytes.
Participation includes regular attendance at worship services, Sunday school classes, confirmation classes, servant events, and an annual confirmation retreat in November at Walcamp in Kingston, IL.
Classes for sixth graders are held on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. during the Sunday school hour.
Classes for seventh and eighth graders are taught by the pastor and held on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m. During Lent and Advent, classes meet immediately following the Wednesday evening worship service.
